A BREATH OF FRESH AIR
Siemens ‘in the zone’ when it comes to low emission action
London’s most polluting vehicles are being “caught on camera” thanks to a revolutionary monitoring system from Siemens.
The equipment is a major player in the creation of a London-wide Low Emission Zone (LEZ) and will see automatic number plate recognition cameras installed at 75 sites across the capital.
These technologically supreme snappers will log over four million plates per day; including lorries, coaches and buses who produce emissions in excess of the LEZ limit.
London’s roadside pollution is on the increase and already boasts the dubious title “worst air pollution in the UK and amongst the worst in Europe”.
With health and well-being at stake in the emission’s crisis, Londoners can thank Siemens for stepping up and deterring polluters with their uber environ-friendly cameras.
Would you like to be part of a company who thrives on being at the forefront of earth-loving technology?
Siemens are seeking new apprentices. Maybe it’s time to flex those green credentials.
