The b-live Foundation provides the following services, resources and tools to support teachers in the delivery of work-related learning, PSHE and Every Child Matters (ECM) outcomes:
Employability Programme which:
- Progressively develops the key skills young people need for employment through a coherent programme of projects set in real world contexts. These projects are designed to provide students with excellent opportunities to demonstrate and develop further their functional skills and their personal, learning and thinking skills (PLTS)
- Demonstrates students’ progress in achieving employability skills, functional skills and PLTS through the use of an online evaluation tool that provides Skill Reports
- Offers students the opportunity to gain nationally recognised and accredited b-live/Edexel BTEC WorkSkills certificates
- Provides students with a unique opportunity to engage with leading employers and possibly take part in exclusive work experience placements
- Provides evidence for the Ofsted Self Evaluation Form (SEF) on how effectively students’ future economic wellbeing is being promoted.

- Provides students with comprehensive, high quality and impartial online careers IAG which both inspires and informs enabling them to make informed choices regarding their futures
- Features tools such as a CV generator, Profile creator which enables students to record achievements – in-and-out of school – and Career Matcher than maps student’s skills, qualities, qualifications and interests to possible future career paths
- Offers students access to employment vacancies, work experience opportunities and apprenticeship placements supported with interview resources and application management services which boost employment and training prospects while enhancing school final destination data
- Provides students with secure social networking, competitions and interactive opportunities to develop functional and PLT skills while having fun
- Delivers reports on students’ skills progression which support Ofsted inspections and tangibly demonstrate whole school progression as well as progression by year group and individual student level.
The b-live Foundation also provides participating schools with a school account manager, teacher website, regular email alerts and bespoke training to make the most of both the Employability Programme and the www.b-live.com.
